Gena & Steve. Where do we begin? These two have a sweet, quiet presence about them. They are comfortable in silence, even with two photographers hovering over them with cameras. They love hiking and adventuring in the outdoors and got engaged in Canaan Valley during peak fall foliage a few years back. Their wedding day was a gorgeous sunny day in Canaan Valley late last summer. Big puffy clouds against a deep blue sky with the most perfect temperature.
Not only did we love working with the two of them, we also loved their fantastic families & friends. Gena’s dad was especially a joy- we loved how many lovely father-daughter moments presented themselves throughout the day.
And then, after a perfect wedding day, we trekked up to Dolly Sods the next day for bride & groom portraits.
We had two perfect days in a row. The busy wedding day under a blue, blue sky, and the day after up at Dolly Sods that ended with one of the most brilliant West Virginia sunsets we’ve ever seen.
