We were able to squeeze in some mini sessions last fall and had so much fun with them! Mini sessions are great if you just want a few photos. They’re best suited for family shoots, pet portraits, and headshots.
As with any family shoot, we spend the majority of the session just letting kids be kids, because we want the photos to feel real and genuine.
The photos we love most are the in between moments where kids are exploring and running around.
Anyway, Lizzy & Luke were full of energy and we had a blast shooting this family.
It was especially neat documenting this family knowing that their mom and dad adopted them last year and these are their first family portraits together.
We think adoption is an incredible thing and hope to work with more families with adopted children in the future!
