Culture House DC (Blind Whino) Wedding // Julie + Emery

These two know how to have one hell of a wedding! We loved working with this couple last year, and their Culture House DC wedding was just so perfectly THEM. We loved Julie’s custom-made leather jacket by Mishi May, and their reception venue was just the coolest place ever. Every nook and cranny of the Culture House DC (formerly Blind Whino) is a tribute to art, and the colorful building itself is a gorgeous labor of love.
We loved their first look, their beautiful modern church, Emery singing “Always and Forever” to Julie during the ceremony and surprising everyone, their enthusiastic and joyous wedding attendants, their epic reception entrance, the Rwandan dancers at the reception, and their kick ass dance party that followed. The whole day was just a fantastic celebration of their love for each other and their loved ones.
Here are our favorite photos from their Culture House DC wedding day — details below.
