Stylish Brooklyn-Inspired Ohio Wedding // Marni & James

Marni and James are some of the most awesome people we’ve had the pleasure of documenting. Both of them are from Ohio and live in Brooklyn. The first time we met up with them in Brooklyn we ended up meeting for a drink….. which somehow, 6+ hours later, had turned into a lot of drinks and an incredible dinner at their favorite restaurant.  We had such a blast with them that day- it was definitely the highlight of that trip to NYC!

Both of them have tremendous taste in fashion- James is the first groom we’ve worked with who knows about Robert Geller and loves Rick Owens and Guidi. You can see their love of fashion in these photos. Marni wore two different dresses, one of which was a jaw-dropping black dress by Vera Wang. The other was a stunning, classic Amsale dress with pockets. James was clad in Dior Homme and Carol Christian Poell shoes. We even got a few shots of Marni wearing her badass Rick Owens Stooges leather jacket (and Bobby is still drooling over it).
