Chris and Joanie’s Pittsburgh engagement photos had it all: cats, a little pre-gaming at home, urban backdrops, cityscapes, a killer sunset, and dancing on rooftops.
Love blooms at this colorful greenhouse engagement session!
A nasty windy chill couldn’t stop this winter engagement session in downtown Charleston, WV. Winter engagement sessions can be cold. It was cold at this shoot. We’re talking wind-chill-in-the-teens cold. You wouldn’t know it from looking at these two badasses though.
Hiking the Endless Wall Trail with Lauren and Shawn during their New River Gorge engagement session. Anytime folks ask us to come on a hike with them and take engagement photos we’re all in. Being asked to do a New River Gorge engagement session is even better.
What started out as a headshot session turned into a hybrid of engagement and business portraits. Initially Erin & Doyle booked us for headshots for their videography business (Dande Films), but somewhere in between booking and shooting, they got engaged. YAY!!! We loved working with them for their Charleston WV engagement / headshot portraits.
We lucked out with the most beautiful fall day with these two for their engagement session!!! Ohio University is my alma mater and a short jaunt from Charleston, WV. We love visiting Athens to catch a film at the Athena, some beer at Jackie-O’s, and a delicious dinner at Casa Nueva. So when Brittany and Sam booked us for their Athens, Ohio wedding and wanted their engagement session there too, we were SO excited. Clients in Athens = more time in Athens!
How sweet are these two? They eloped earlier on the same morning that we took these photos, so we spent a little time around downtown Charleston WV for some post-elopement portraits of them! Here are our favorite photos from our short shoot with Kaci & Taylor on their wedding day. <3
Oh, Greenbrier Resort, we love you so! The historic Greenbrier Resort is breathtaking and a perfect backdrop for photos. Whenever anyone wants to shoot at the Greenbrier, we make it work, because it’s our favorite!
Okay guys, we dare you to look through these photos and not smile. Look how sweet and lovey these two are!! I took Sara’s high school senior portraits many years ago, and now here she is, getting married. I guess that’s what happens when you’ve been in business for nearly a decade — people move through different stages of life. Anyway, this was a Charleston shoot, through and through. Southside bridge, Capitol Street, and of course, Charleston institution for great pizza, salads, and sangria — Lolas!!
Just look at these two and try not to smile. They are so sweet! We’re so excited to shoot their small wedding/elopement this weekend. Here are our favorite photos from our engagement session with them a few months back!
