A Greenbrier Resort Wedding // Kimberly & Christopher
It was chilly and damp at the Greenbrier Resort on this October day last year.

We shot Ashleigh & Whit’s wedding a few days after we took these photos right before Christmas a few years back. It was chilly out, and we knew they wanted a few photos in some dressier clothes, so we thought a poinsettia backdrop in a nice & warm greenhouse would look really unique.
Ann & John got married last fall on a gorgeous autumn day at the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV. There was a lot to love about this wedding – Ann & John were sweet as can be, we *loved* Ann’s dress (dresses with sleeves are our favorite!), and they served the famous Spring Hill…
A few months after I documented Bronx’s homebirth for the Witts, we got some springtime portraits in downtown Charleston WV.
We loved working with Raabia & Toney and are so excited to work with them again this spring! We started this engagement shoot at one of Charleston, West Virginia’s most notable landmarks, Taylor Books Cafe with some backgammon and cards. From there we explored Summers Street and Charleston’s beautiful Kanawha Boulevard.
Gena & Steve. Where do we begin? These two have a sweet, quiet presence about them. They are comfortable in silence, even with two photographers hovering over them with cameras. They love hiking and adventuring in the outdoors and got engaged in Canaan Valley during peak fall foliage a few years back. Their wedding day…
Elyse & Jacob’s Benedict Haid Farm wedding day was rainy off and on until the end of the ceremony when a beautiful sunset emerged beneath the clouds.
When Emily’s mom told us that Emily was really into fashion and wanted us to do her senior portraits we got really excited. We love creative, editorial fashion photography and wanted to do something fun and edgy with this Charleston, West Virginia high school senior portrait session.
Teri and James are awesome. They live in a cute house tucked in the mountains in Morgantown, WV, where they spend time cuddling their adorable cats and dog, running/cycling, and drinking delicious craft beers.
We were in for a treat when we arrived for Shanie & Ian’s wedding! We’d met with them earlier this year and they told us about their active involvement in animal (namely parrot) rescuing. We figured there’d be some feathers in the decor, but we were definitely blown away by how everything came together.
