Amanda & Todd’s Red Leap Day West Virginia Wedding

Amanda & Todd’s West Virginia wedding took place on Leap Day! Their ceremony was at the WVSU Capitol Theater, and the reception was at Black Sheep Burritos.
This Leap Day wedding was red, red, red!!
Mandy’s red lace dress was the perfect touch for this February wedding. We love when brides opt for dresses that aren’t white! The red lace was breathtaking during the ceremony against the red curtain backdrop. Also, Mandy’s brooch bouquet was red, along with their red glittery cupcakes and cake by Hollypops. And since Mandy is a jeweler at Calvin Broyles Jewelers, she designed the rose gold, ruby, and diamond ring set. This was one of the prettiest and most unique sets we’ve ever seen!
We were also honored to work with these two because Todd is the Director of Photographic Services at West Virginia State University. We see him with his camera around town all the time! It’s always such a treat to work with other local photographers and artists.
Most noteworthy were the many friends & family who pitched in their talent and time to help make Mandy & Todd’s wedding a success. Their dear friend Mia officiated their ceremony. We loved Jeff Pierson’s custom invitation/poster artwork and Staci Leech-Cornell’s custom cake topper. It’s fitting that Mandy & Todd would incorporate so many great local artists into their celebration since they met through friends at ArtWalk!
