The Mystery Hole is one of the most beloved oddities found within the mountains of West Virginia. Like any good roadside attraction it has a colorful, run-down aesthetic with promises of the weird and wacky to entice passers-by. Seemingly everyone around these parts knows of it, and yet we’ve never seen anyone take Mystery Hole…
We loved working with Raabia & Toney and are so excited to work with them again this spring! We started this engagement shoot at one of Charleston, West Virginia’s most notable landmarks, Taylor Books Cafe with some backgammon and cards. From there we explored Summers Street and Charleston’s beautiful Kanawha Boulevard.
Before all the snow and the holidays, we took some photos of one of our favorite families, the Witts!
We’re really excited to share this 21c Museum Hotel wedding we photographed in Lexington, Kentucky! That’s right, the 21c is both a hotel and a museum. Molly and Alex were married in the art gallery portion of the venue, surrounded by flying turtles, bird paintings and an awesome geometric wooden backdrop (made by the couple!).
We’ve photographed lots of couples with their pups before, but we can say with complete certainty that this sweet dog traveled the furthest to get in front of our camera…. Madison and Chris flew with Riley from Seattle for their West Virginia engagement session with us!
Love … Love LOVE! Great job guys.
